Yeah, it’s considered a positive. I always try to have one or two guys on my roster who will rack up penalty minutes.
Yes – many fantasy hockey leagues use PIM as another stat to help out players that weren’t fortunate enough to grab all the top scoring players.
In your case, yes, having a high number of PIM is good.
